I’m the type of girl that’s jamming to music in my kitchen in an over-sized T-shirt while my husband cooks us a meal and my dogs run around our home playing. Fashion, DIYS and crafts, antique malls, spooky home decor, lighting bolts, dark romance novels, and all the dark moody vibes are just a few of the things that make up the person behind the camera. I’m a multi- faceted creative that has a true passion for bringing the best out in the people around me and playing a hand in getting someone to see the true beauty they held with in them the entire time.
By "day", I am a crisis counselor with 988 suicide crisis line and by "night" I am a photographer as well as a cosmetologist so, I literally live, breathe, and eat everything that involves beauty and mental health. Uplifting those around me has always come naturally and thankfully my path has led me here to use those skills in such a beautiful way.
Being born in the 90's I lived through the rush of modern day digital camera development which heavily influenced my childhood. Every moment was worth capturing... Even the not so flattering moments. lol. Thankfully that means I've had a lot of practice at finding the moments to capture that perfectly tell the story of you. Finding the in-betweens that make the emotion jump from the picture is my goal. You feeling like the hottie badass you are while looking at yourself once your gallery is delivered. I had never felt more beautiful and authentically documented until my wedding. Having those pictures to share with my partner for the rest of our lives is something I'm so thankful for and will forever cherish. Knowing that I too create something meaningful like that for someone else is my why. Photography was always my passion as a side hustle until this day when I understood the impact from the other side of the camera.
With photography being a hobby of mine for over 10 years before transitioning into a full-time photographer, the passion I have for this craft has only gotten stronger over the years. I grew up watching America's Next Top Model which really fueled my younger self to dive into the creative side of photography. We don't do cookie cutter stuff around here. Each image should feel like your'e looking through a magazine, like your'e looking at a piece of art.. Y O U being the art. Capturing the raw, the real, the sweet in between moments. Capturing your story is what I'm here to do. Everyone has a story, and those stories are worth telling. One day, our memories will be all we have left and the images that make up the life you lived will hold that much more meaning.
